Our Process

The process begins with the submission of a technology package, typically containing a synthesis outline, product specifications, handling requirements, and sometimes a representative sample. In some cases, the technology includes proprietary processes or trade secrets, and to safeguard both parties, we initiate a mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before reviewing any sensitive material.

Upon receipt of the technology package, our technical team conducts a detailed feasibility analysis. This includes an evaluation of the proposed synthetic route, availability of raw materials, and compatibility with our equipment and safety protocols. We also assess regulatory considerations, including REACH, TSCA, and other compliance frameworks.

In parallel, we analyze any representative sample provided. Using analytical tools such as HPLC, FTIR, titrimetric, and mass spectrometry analysis, we characterize the product’s physical and chemical properties. This benchmark guides us as we develop a parallel process tailored to our capabilities but aligned with the customer’s expectations.

If we determine that the chemistry is feasible and scalable, the project moves to our pilot plant. Here, we conduct small batch runs to simulate full-scale production while allowing room for fine-tuning. This critical stage helps us optimize reaction parameters, troubleshoot technical challenges, and document key process variables for future reference.

After pilot runs are completed, we produce a sample batch and submit it to the customer for testing. The customer performs validation in their application to ensure the material meets all technical and commercial expectations.

Commercial-Scale Manufacturing

If approved, we will prepare for commercial-scale manufacturing. This includes sourcing long-lead-time raw materials, preparing process documentation, setting up QA/QC protocols, and planning logistics. Depending on the customer’s needs, we may also provide support for packaging, labeling, and downstream distribution.

If the sample fails to meet requirements, we re-engage with the customer to determine what modifications are needed. Sometimes, the issue lies in subtle impurities, reaction byproducts, or formulation stabilizers – all of which we can address through targeted formulation and process adjustments.
