Beyond Membership: A Community of Possibilities

At Ethox Chemicals, we deeply believe in the future of agriculture and recognize the intricate challenges—including economic pressures, environmental threats, labor shortages, and policy uncertainties—that American farmers currently navigate. These interconnected issues pose significant threats to the viability of farms and the stability of our food supply chain.

To address these challenges, Ethox is committed to championing the American farmer and advancing the agrotechnology industry. Our company membership in The Council of Producers and Distributors of Agrotechnology (CPDA) is a cornerstone of this commitment.

The Council of Producers and Distributors of Agrotechnology (CPDA)

The CPDA is a trade association that represents the interests of companies involved in the production and distribution of agricultural adjuvants, inert ingredients, and post-patent pesticide products. Membership includes a wide range of companies, from small businesses to large, involved in the production, formulation, distribution, and sales of these products.

Advocacy

The CPDA plays a crucial role in advocating for its members by actively engaging in legislative and regulatory efforts. They champion science-based policies and provide essential support to ensure a favorable environment for the products their members produce.

The annual Washington D.C. Fly-In is a central point for CPDA’s federal advocacy efforts. As a member, Ethox attends, and frequently sponsors, this important event. The event provides Ethox the opportunity to stay ahead of the curve by meeting with Congressional leaders, members of the current Administration, and agricultural allies.

Regulatory Support

The CPDA provides support to its members in navigating the complex regulatory landscape, particularly concerning the registration and use of pesticides and related products.

At the annual CPDA Adjuvants, Inerts & Crop Protection Conference Ethox joins members and non-members from the crop protection and adjuvant industry to discuss key issues, share insights, and network. The conference covers topics like regulatory challenges, market trends, and emerging technologies in the field. It also provides information on the changing landscape of the U.S. crop protection market, the impact of times of disruption on regulations and trade, innovations from emerging suppliers, and the future vision of leading companies.

The CPDA Annual Meeting is a key gathering for leaders across the industry, including manufacturers, formulators, suppliers, and users of adjuvants, inerts, and crop protection products. Attending this meeting provides Ethox with an excellent platform for networking, sharing insights on industry trends, and discussing the latest innovations and challenges in the field. It also offers a valuable opportunity to understand regulatory landscapes, such as the EPA's strategies regarding herbicides, rodenticides, and insecticides. By contributing to these important discussions, Ethox can have a direct voice in the future of agrotechnology.

A Community of Possibilities

As a member of CPDA, Ethox is part of a community of businesses involved in the production, formulation, and distribution of agrotechnology products, including adjuvants, inert ingredients, and post-patent pesticides. This membership signifies our commitment to the agrotechnology industry's advocacy, community, and education, particularly in areas like regulatory issues and policy changes.

Through CPDA, we gain access to valuable resources and join a collective voice to address challenges and possibilities within the agriculture industry.
